AEGIS-PRIME: The Sky-Bridge Convoy

The story

In the high-altitude abyss of Aegis-Prime, vital plasma fuel must be transported between mountain peaks across rickety, chasm-spanning sky-bridges. Jax, a battle-hardened driver, loads a massive orange six-wheeled war-rig at the Western Terminal with young mechanic Kael. As they enter the sway-heavy three-mile cable span high above a purple cloud deck, the vicious raider warlord Vane launches an ambush with rocket-propelled gliders and magnetic harpoons. Vane's crew boards the upper deck and severs key support cables, causing the roadway to buckle and tilt toward the drop. Kael battles bandits on the roof with an industrial torch while Jax drives through blinding lightning and swinging steel cables. In the climax, with the bridge disintegrating behind them and Vane breaching the cockpit, Jax engages the rig's experimental supercharger, leaping the falling bridge gap to smash Vane's glider and crash-land safely onto the Eastern Outpost terminal platform.
