ASTROCLAST: The Emerald Caldera

The story

On the dying, toxic world of Astroclast, mute scavenger Kaya unearths a pristine plasma ignition core from a fallen orbital pod—the last power source capable of rebooting the planet's atmospheric scrubbers. Accompanied by her hulking loader mech B-017, Kaya begins a treacherous trek across the Emerald Caldera, a vast volcanic landscape covered in hyper-sharp crystal spires. Her movement triggers the attention of Commander Vane, a ruthless salvage warlord who wants the core to power his own escape frigate. As Vane's armory chases Kaya through narrow glass ravines, their intense firefight awakens The Archon, a giant crystalline leviathan native to the caldera's subterranean depth. When Vane corners Kaya at the entrance of the ancient igniter forge, the leviathan attacks, crushing Vane's forces. Kaya uses B-017 to lure the beast into the reactor shaft, where she manually slots the plasma core into place, triggering a blinding shockwave that neutralizes the monster and restores fresh air across the planet's sky.
