AURELIA: The Crystal Tide

The story

In the luminous, crystal-encrusted city of Aurelia, built on the energy of captured starlight, Elara, a resourceful scavenger, dreams of escaping the impoverished outer districts. She discovers her ailing younger sister, Lyra, can only be saved by a legendary artifact: a 'Starseed,' said to contain pure, concentrated starlight. This Starseed is guarded in the innermost vault of the Lumina Corporation, led by the ruthless CEO, Valerius. Elara assembles a ragtag team: Jax, a nimble former corporate drone; and Kael, a burly, loyal engineer. Their plan involves navigating Aurelia's complex light-based security systems and traversing its gleaming, precarious architecture. Through a series of near-misses, acrobatic escapes, and ingenious diversions, they penetrate the vault. Just as they seize the Starseed, Valerius, anticipating their move, confronts them, revealing his intention to convert the artifact into a destructive weapon. A desperate chase ensues across Aurelia's highest spires. Elara, using her knowledge of the city's underbelly, outmaneuvers Valerius's security. In a final, daring act, she uses the Starseed's energy to activate a forgotten ancient mechanism, flooding a desolate outer district with healing light, saving Lyra, and revealing Valerius’s corruption to the city, forcing him to flee into the shadows.
