AURIVALE: The Eclipse Vault

The story

In the cloud-covered sky-world of Aurivale, legendary mute cat-burglar Vesper leads a trio of elite thieves onto the Eclipse Vault—a floating, heavily armored fortress tethered inside a perpetual thundercloud. Their target is the Sol-Spindle, an ancient radiant star-core that powers the tyrannical empire below. Equipped with magnetic grappling gear and silent smoke flares, the team drops onto the exterior hull during a lightning storm. Inside, they navigate massive rotating gear halls, laser security grids, and liquid-nitrogen vents while avoiding blind, sound-sensitive automaton sentinels. When the vault's defense grid triggers, locking down exit portals and charging the room with plasma, Vesper cuts her safety tether to manually pry the blinding star-core from its magnetic cage. Dodging the crushing mechanical warden, the crew blasts a hole through the floor, freefalling into the eye of the tempest and opening solar parachutes to escape into the brilliant sunlight above as the ruined vault plunges into the abyss.
