BLACKSTONE PASS: The Avalanche Line

The story

At the isolated mountain facility of Blackstone Pass, silent cable-car mechanic Elena Vance discovers a team of tactical saboteurs led by the cold-blooded Commander Jonas planting sonic demolition charges along the summit's sheer snowpack. Unable to call for help due to cut comms, Elena rescues Kai, a young boy trapped in the station observatory, and flees into the main cable car. Jonas sabotages the drive motor, stranding the car thousands of feet above the gorge as the charge countdown begins. Armed only with her mechanical tools and emergency flare rockets, Elena climbs onto the frosted steel cables in high winds to manually detonate a safety charge. While dodging sniper fire from Jonas's helicopter, she fires a flare directly into the main charge, triggering a localized snowslide that consumes Jonas's team and neutralizes the mass avalanche. Elena uses the cable car's manual brake release to ride the gondola down through the snowstorm into the safety of the illuminated valley village below.
