Apex Strata

The story

While cleaning the exterior of the two-hundred-story Apex Spire during a rainstorm, deaf technician Ren accidentally records a high-profile execution inside a top-floor penthouse through her helmet camera. The corporate assassin, Operative Zero, triggers a total building lockdown and deploys automated security drones to destroy the witness. After drones sever her cradle's suspension cables, Ren uses high-powered suction clamps and industrial tether lines to climb along the slippery glass facade. Her supervisor, Jax, attempts to override the system from the ground control room but is silenced by Zero's mercenaries. Forced into the tower's massive wind-turbine ventilation shafts, Ren outsmarts the tracking drones by using ultrasonic cleaning tools as EMP weapons. She reaches the storm-drenched rooftop server array, where Zero corners her in a kinetic hand-to-hand battle. Ren attaches a high-tension cable to Zero's harness, sending him dragged into the main turbine intake, before plugging her recording unit directly into the rooftop satellite dish to broadcast the murder footage globally.
