GLIMMERGLADE: The Great Prank War

The story

Pip, a small, nervous squirrel, yearns for the attention of the graceful nut-collector, Willow. Attempting a grand romantic gesture, he accidentally triggers a booby-trapped acorn intended for the boisterous Acorn Hoarders, unleashing a deluge of bright pink glitter on their leader, Barky. This ignites an immediate, retaliatory prank from the Hoarders against the more refined Berry Bunch, led by the stoic Bramble. What starts as a simple glitter bomb escalates into a madcap, escalating war of increasingly elaborate and visually spectacular pranks: bouncy mushroom traps, exploding berry pies, sticky sap downpours, and even a giant, wobbly gelatin mold that engulfs a key meeting spot. Pip, horrified by the chaos he's wrought and seeing Willow caught in the crossfire, realizes he must stop the war. He devises a plan to unite the factions against a 'common enemy' – a series of self-sabotaging, comically inept 'attacks' that trick both sides into believing a third, even more chaotic, prankster is at work. The factions, exhausted and bewildered, grudgingly team up to find this phantom menace, only to discover Pip's elaborate, final 'prank' – a giant, shared feast of all their favorite foods, accidentally creating a truce through shared laughter and full bellies, with Willow finally looking at Pip with admiration.
