KERBEROS-7: The Methane Drift

The story

On the deep-freeze industrial moon of Kerberos-7, rogue pilot Kora and her mechanic Silt steal a unstable fusion core from an authoritarian mining syndicate operating on Rig-09. Mounted on a heavy, rocket-boosted ice-sled, they head across the open methane ice sheets toward the safe haven of Sanctuary Dome. Mercenary commander Vane leads a fleet of heavy spike-wheeled war-rigs in hot pursuit, trapping Kora in the lethal Glass Canyon where tight maneuvers trigger razor-sharp ice collapses. Pushed onto the volatile Frost-Vent Flats, tracker Jax ambushes the team with harpoon cables, damaging the sled's tracks as superheated gas spouts threaten to ignite their fuel. Desperate, Kora leaps onto Vane's lead war-rig in mid-motion, fighting through the crew in brutal hand-to-hand combat to seize the wheel. She redirects the massive vessel toward Sanctuary Dome, triggering the stolen core's overload pulse to blast across a crumbling ice chasm and coasting safety into the dome before the entire landscape detonate in a wall of cyan flame.
