LUMENORA: The Prism Railway

The story

In the sky-realm of Lumenora, perpetual warmth and light are maintained by the Prism Railway, a massive monorail carrying a radiant Sun-Core across floating mountain peaks. During a public ceremony, a masked bandit named Vex ambushes the train, plucks the glowing core from its furnace, and hijacks the locomotive, causing instant frost to creep across the sky-cities. Teenage train mechanic Pip and her giant steam-powered brass chameleon, Sprocket, grab high-speed magnetic rail-skates and launch onto the open tracks in hot pursuit. Racing through freezing cloud canyons and dodging Vex’s mechanical drone swarms, Pip uses her magnetic wrench to leap from rail to rail. Sprocket uses his long mechanical tongue to hook onto the runaway train's caboose, pulling Pip aboard just before a massive track gap. Inside the speeding engine, Pip battles Vex in a visual spectacle of flying sparks and shifted gears, using her tools to redirect Vex’s drones into repairing the broken controls. Pip slam-dunks the Sun-Core back into the central furnace right as the train leaps off a severed track, igniting a wave of golden heat that shatters the ice across Lumenora and lands the train safely on the opposite ridge.
