LUMINA: The Drifting City

The story

The Drifting City of Lumina, a wondrous metropolis suspended by ancient technology, is slowly losing altitude. Young inventor Kaelen, ostracized for her unconventional ideas, discovers a hidden chamber containing a smaller, ornate airship – the 'Skiff-Heart'. With her loyal but rambunctious companion, Pip, a sentient cloud-fox, Kaelen deciphers cryptic symbols, revealing that the Skiff-Heart is the key to reactivating Lumina's core. They embark on a perilous journey through Lumina's forgotten upper districts, navigating treacherous winds and dodging menacing cloud-raptors, all while pursued by the cautious but misguided City Guard. As Lumina’s descent accelerates, Kaelen and Pip must use Kaelen's ingenuity and Pip's innate connection to the sky to activate the Skiff-Heart, guiding it through a narrow, glowing energy conduit at the city's apex. Their success causes Lumina to pulse with renewed energy, slowly ascending back to its rightful place amongst the clouds, with Kaelen and Pip celebrated as heroes, their bond stronger than ever.
