ORIONVALE: The Star-Lantern Express

The story

In the twilight realm of Orionvale, the sun has faded into a dormant Ember Orb, leaving the giant redwood cities dependent on the annual Star-Lantern Express to deliver the glowing orb to the mountain peak. Siblings Leo and Maya, along with their hulking badger-mechanic Barnaby, board the mahogany-and-brass locomotive carrying the brilliant blue Ember Orb. Mid-journey, the sinister Captain Vane swoops in aboard a mechanical glider to steal the glowing orb for his dark fortress, damaging the train's steam regulator. Leo and Maya use their wits and tools to make emergency repairs on a terrifyingly narrow trestle high above the fog. As Captain Vane launches a final attack in the freezing cloud line, Maya uses a reflective brass mirror to blind the attacker while Leo leaps across the coal tender to lock the Ember Orb into the train's furnace, supercharging the engine. The train leaps a broken gap in the rails, arriving at the Everglow Spire where the trio manually hoist the glowing orb into the mountaintop bowl, igniting a blinding aurora that bathes the entire realm in warm, eternal light and sends Vane flying into the dark mists below.
