The story

Inside the hollowed volcanic planet of Pyraxis, the floating metropolis of Aethel-Ghar relies on a massive vertical magma waterfall—the Ember Cascade—for energy. When a catastrophic tectonic shift causes the cascade to overload, threatening to melt the city's support cables, thermal surveyor Vanya Reyes and her quad-pedal maintenance drone Unit-77 plunge into the subterranean shaft to initiate emergency cooling. They navigate intense heat, falling molten debris, and collapsing catwalks, receiving guidance from Overseer Kael from the high control deck. Disaster strikes when a thermal explosion destroys the central gantry, forcing Vanya to leap across a collapsing magnetic bridge over a sea of white-hot liquid rock. Inside the sweltering pressure chamber, Vanya must manually hoist and align a multi-ton cryogenic spire as steam blasts threaten to tear her suit apart. With Unit-77 bracing the jammed pressure door, Vanya drives the spire into the core, triggering a massive wave of ice-blue frost that stabilizes the Cascade. Vanya emerges onto the upper balcony as the sky above Pyraxis clears, revealing a calm, radiant sky over the newly secured world.
