SARKANIS: The Glass Canyon

The story

In the scorched glass expanse of Sarkanis, scrapper pilot Kael recovers a rare dark-matter core capable of powering her dying subterranean home. When Archon Zeroth—a monolithic hunter-drone—detects the energy pulse, it unleashes a wave of metallic hunters upon the outpost. Kael and her giant mechanical partner Vex board their heavy Sand Engine Rig and plunge into the reflective black-glass abyss. Racing through high-velocity crystal canyons and blinding electric dust storms, they battle pursuing drones and repair their dangerously overheating payload. Trapped at the Titan Graveyard, Vex holds off Archon Zeroth at great personal cost, allowing Kael to reach the ancient Core Vault. In a climax of crushed metal and blinding energy, Kael rams Zeroth into the central terminal, locking the core in place and activating the shield dome just before the sky erupts.
