SKAGARRA: The Sulfur-Prowler

The story

On the toxic mining world of Skagarra, deep drilling violently disturbs a legendary burrowing titan—the Sulfur-Prowler. Blind but hyper-sensitive to kinetic impacts and engine heat, the creature slaughters the mining outpost in minutes. Mute survival technician Mara pulls wounded mechanic Jax from the burning rubble, and together they commandeer a massive six-treaded industrial hauler to cross the boiling terrain. As they traverse glowing sulfur plains and razor-sharp glass canyons, the Prowler stalks them from beneath the crust, using geothermal vents as ambush points. Mara uses thermal flares and steam discharges to manipulate the monster's senses while Jax repairs the vehicle's failing drives under intense pressure. In a climactic showdown at an abandoned mountain extraction silo, Mara lures the behemoth directly into the path of an orbital rocket's superheated thruster blast, incinerating the beast just as the escape pod launches into space.
