STRATORIS: The Lightning Needle

The story

On the storm-ravaged cloud-world of Stratoris, master engineer Kaelen extracts a hyper-charged energy core from the ancient central lightning needle just as automated storm-drones go rogue. Joined by her mechanical hound Varg and a desperate sky-runner named Jax, Kaelen mounts the Volt-Rider—a heavy armored train rolling on high-altitude cable lines. As they speed across thousands of miles of open cloud chasms, Jax attempts to steal the priceless core, forcing a brutal battle on top of the speeding train. When the lead drone attacks and severs the sky-rail ahead, Kaelen sacrifices the train's main engine, rigging a rocket-assisted skiff to leap the shattered bridge. Flying into the high-altitude metropolis, Kaelen battles the drone leader in mid-air and plugs the glowing core into the city's central spire, restoring the protective energy shield seconds before the storm front engulfs humanity's last haven.
