VALENMARK: The Clockwork Eclipse

The story

In the perpetual dusk of Valenmark, the massive bronze gears sky-high above the clouds freeze as dark rust-spores take root across the realm's central machine. Vespera, a mute young mechanic with a glowing brass prosthetic forearm, discovers that the sky's central pendulum has been seized by the Rust Monarch, a monstrous fusion of twisted corroded metal and parasitic shadow-fungus. Teaming up with Oakhaven, a hulking eight-foot iron automaton with a glowing blue furnace heart, Vespera ascends the colossal gear-towers. They battle swarms of razor-winged brass gargoyles and navigate vertical, crushing machine-canyons. Reaching the apex Observatory Core, Vespera must manually realign the ancient prism-lens while Oakhaven holds back the towering Rust Monarch. In a climactic duel, Oakhaven sacrifices his core fuel to incinerate the dark spores, allowing Vespera to strike the final gear-lever. Light bursts through the sky-canopy, burning away the blight and restoring warmth to Valenmark.
