VALESTRA: The Rust Horizon

The story

In the desert world of Valestra, the underground gear-city of Oakhaven faces extinction as its central heat engine dies out. Kira, a mute salvager, embarks on a perilous trek across the violet dunes to the Titan Graveyard, where mountain-sized iron automata lie buried. She successfully extracts a glowing cyan fusion core from a titan's ribcage, but triggers a pack of feral mechanical rust-beasts led by a lethal Alpha predator. Chased across towering steel gear-canyons, Kira makes a desperate stand inside the ancient Obsidian Vault. She uses the core to reawaken a dormant Titan Guardian, using its raw energy beam to disintegrate the pack and transmit power across the desert back to her freezing home.
