VARAKOS: The Magnetite Spine

The story

On the harsh mining planet of Varakos, courier Jax carries a volatile anti-magnetic containment core aboard an automated, high-speed cargo transport traversing the Magnetite Spine—a treacherous, elevated rail system spanning unstable electromagnetic peaks. When a crew of ruthless raiders led by the merciless Vane boards the train to steal the core, the ensuing firefight damages the train's polarity controls. With the rail system buckling under erratic magnetic surges and sending heavy debris levitating into their path, Jax must battle through the exterior car-tops, fight off Vane's heavily armed boarders, and manually recalibrate the core engine before the train hits the dead-end precipice of the abyss. In a climactic final clash atop the speed-shattered engine car, Jax uses the core's magnetic force to hurl Vane's boarding vessel into the chasm and brings the runaway train to a zero-point halt inches from the brink.
