VETROVIA: The Glass-Silt Reach

The story

On the glinting violet glass plains of Vetrovia, salvage engineer Vane and veteran miner Jax harvest scrap from a grounded industrial crawler alongside Naya, a mute young desert scout. A catastrophic engine overload detonates the crawler's power reactor, sending shockwaves through the deep silica strata and awakening the Glass-Sleeper—a massive, armored silicate leviathan with a roaring, superheated plasma furnace in its throat. Forced onto foot, the survivors must trek across miles of razor-sharp purple quartz dunes using silent felt-padded boots and solar reflector shields. As the heat-chasing leviathan burrows beneath them, converting the glass desert into churning trenches of liquid magma, Jax sacrifices his loud, mechanical exoskeleton suit to draw the beast away. Vane and Naya make a desperate dash through a graveyard of abandoned mining dredgers, luring the creature toward a high-altitude seismic beacon tower. In a climactic final confrontation, Vane feeds a supercharged plasma battery directly into the creature's gaping furnace mouth, causing a thermal chain reaction that instantly freezes the monster into a giant, motionless glass statue atop the cresting dunes.
