ZEPHYRION: The Silk Meridian

The story

In the cloud-bound realm of Zephyrion, floating city-spires are held together by giant cables of bioluminescent silk spun by celestial sky-beasts. During the annual harvesting festival, a sudden surge of razor-ash ruptures the lower web network, trapping young apprentice Orin on a collapsing outer mooring. High Weaver Valen orders the lower spires severed to preserve the central reserve, abandoning the apprentice. Refusing to let Orin fall into the bottomless abyss, veteran sky-weaver Kaelen leaps into the chaotic storm on a mechanical glider. She descends into the glowing, monster-infested Nest Cavern, where she earns the allegiance of the colossal Great Threadweaver beast. Riding the beast through crackling purple lightning, Kaelen reaches the snapping cables of the Ash Canyon just as Valen's automated defense drones arrive to cut the lines. Kaelen uses the Great Threadweaver's golden silk to overpower the drones, catches Orin in mid-air as the anchor collapses, and binds the entire floating district back to the core spire just as the storm clears into a radiant dawn.
