ZERO-SPIRE: The Neon Abyss

The story

Deep within the flooded abyss of planet Zero-Spire, master salvage diver Kael pilots her rusty sub-rig into the glowing depths of the Neon Trench to retrieve a priceless bio-chemical core from a fallen alien titan. Guided by her trusty maintenance drone PIP, Kael descends past forest-sized bioluminescent anemones and hazardous electrical thermal vents. Her mission is disrupted when her rival Vane ambushes her rig in a heavily armed combat sub, sabotaging her engine coils. Forcing a daring free-dive into the titan’s crystalline ribs, Kael manually navigates the creature's glowing, hazardous interior while dodging Vane’s boarding harpoons. Inside the titan's pulsating engine room, she extracts the volatile core just as Vane breaches the chamber. A silent, high-tension underwater duel ensues using welding torches, tow-cables, and shock-flares. Kael outmaneuvers Vane, tethering his sub to the core's heavy anchor while triggering the leviathan's emergency ballast expulsion. The resulting surge launches her safety pod to the ocean surface just as the trench collapses into darkness, securing her prize and escaping the abyssal grave.
